Type Postcode HR9 6DA. This takes you to our main gate.

Note: PSV, LV and caravans are prohibited on the B4432 approaching from the Forest of Dean via Christchurch between Yat Rock and Huntsham bridge. This is one of the steepest and narrowest roads in Britain. Take the unclassified road through English Bicknor and cross Kerne bridge instead.

Road

  1. Take the A40 between Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth.
  2. Exit the A40 at Whitchurch.
  3. Turn south onto the B4164 towards Symonds Yat West for 100 yards.
  4. At the roundabout take the B4164 south towards Symonds Yat West.
  5. After 150 yards turn left into our car park.

Use the National Rail planner to get to Newport, Gloucester or Hereford. Transfer is by bus, changing at Monmouth or Ross-on-Wye for Whitchurch, Herefordshire.

National Express runs services to Ross-on-Wye, then change for Whitchurch, Herefordshire.

Use the Traveline planner or see Herefordshire Council’s public transport timetables to get to Whitchurch, Herefordshire.

  1. Ross-on-Wye to Whitchurch, Service 34; or Hereford to Whitchurch, Service 411 (Wednesday only); or Monmouth to Whitchurch, Service 34
  2. At the Whitchurch, Crown Hotel/Tower Stores bus stop take the bridge over the A40 towards Symonds Yat West for 100 yards, then:
  3. At the Whitchurch, Roundabout/School bus stop take the B4164 towards Symonds Yat West for 150 yards, turn left into the Wye Valley Visitor Centre.

Our nearest bus stops are at Whitchurch, Herefordshire, a few hundred yards away. Symonds Yat Rock bus stop, Gloucestershire service 709 (Tuesday and Fridays only), is 3 km away taking the ferry, or 5.75 km by road.
